It is common for one house to have two of these under the same roof, because a sleepout or a rear extension was added decades after the front of the house was built. We check the whole ceiling line rather than quoting off the room you called about.
Old Plumbing Above Old Plaster
The most common way we meet a Bayswater ceiling is after water has come through it. In a house of this age the pipework above the ceiling is often the oldest system in the building, and a single failure puts a lot of water into plaster that was never waterproof to begin with.
