How we work.
We visit
Walk through the space. Take photos. Check the strapping, look for water marks, assess whether repair is actually possible or if replacement is the call.
We quote
Written quote within 48 hours. Fixed price. No surprises. If it can be repaired, we'll say so. If replacement is the right answer, we'll cost it properly.
We replace
Sheets down, strapping checked, new plasterboard up, corner finished, signed off. Workmanship warranty in writing. You know what's been done and why.
What we won't do.
Patch jobs that won't last
We don't sell repairs we know will fail in two years. If the ceiling needs replacing, we'll tell you. It's cheaper for us to quote a patch, but we don't.
Over-quoting insurance work
Some tradesmen inflate scope to maximize the claim. We scope it accurately, document it, and your insurer approves it first time.
Cutting corners on materials
We use 10mm CD or cove if that's what the space needs. We don't downgrade to cheaper board because the margin is better. Your ceiling lasts.
Hidden asbestos
We're licensed to identify and legally remove asbestos. If we find it, we tell you upfront. We don't leave it in place and patch over it.
How we got here.
Twenty years ago, there wasn't much of a market for ceiling replacement in Perth. Houses got repaired, a patch here, new cornice there, plaster over the water mark. But nobody was pulling down the whole ceiling and doing it right. So the bad work kept stacking up.
We started replacing ceilings because the repair jobs were failing. Insurance assessors would call us back six months later: "This fix didn't hold. Try again." So we started recommending replacement instead. It cost more upfront. It held for 20 years. The repeat work stopped.
That honest conversation, "You need to replace it, not patch it", became our thing. Asbestos came up. Water damage from storms. Strapping too far gone. We licensed up, got the tools right, learned the spec books. And we stayed local. No drive-by franchises, no head office telling us to upsell. Just Perth tradesmen replacing ceilings properly.
